WHAT TO EXPECT DURING A HOMEOPATHIC CONSULTATION
The initial consultation with a homeopath is usually around an hour long. The reason for a longer consultation is because the homeopath will need a detailed account of the condition/ illness presented at the time, together with a background of the patient’s medical history, family history, and other aspects of the patient’s wellbeing. A full physical cursory exam is done at each consultation.
The follow- up consultations range between 15 minutes to half an hour, depending on the complaint of the patient. Consultations are within medical aid rates and are covered by most medical insurance companies.
